A very special embroidery kit celebrating two of my favorite things- books and plants! I designed this kit especially for an embroidery class I will be teaching at the Andover bookstore in June, but I heard all of your feedback and I am offering this kit online for a limited pre order so you can get one even if you are unable to attend the class!
I have also included the option to add a special book themed needle minder with your kit. The needle minder celebrates 3 influential female authors from Massachusetts and is the perfect way to keep your needle safe. I designed the needle minder based on the spine art of vintage books and have laser cut them out of USA Maple hardwood.
About the embroidery kit: This kit uses 7 embroidery stitches and is personalizable. The date 1809 and initials AB in my sample are not included in the design printed on the fabric, which allows you to insert initials or a date that is important to you.
Included in the Kit:
- 5″ Bamboo hoop
- Linen with design and background book color preprinted on in heat set archival ink
- All Subito Farm Fox Hill wool/ silk threads needed to complete your project
- Embroidery needle
- Detailed instruction booklet including pattern diagram and step-by-step instructions and stitch guide
